A Prospect Field Journal
A club taking shape. Room by room.

Inside the Work
The rooms are becoming easier to see.
Mackenzie has lived in plans, renderings, and conversations for a long time. Now crews are cutting trenches through the foundation, threading systems through ceilings, and closing walls around the rooms we have described for months.
This field journal follows the work floor by floor, opens all three plans, and shows how golf, dining, recovery, and fellowship will fit together at 260 Addie Roy.

From the Parking Lot
The club has an office before it has a front desk.
The Mackenzie team is now working onsite from a temporary membership office in the club parking lot, steps from the construction.
It is the best place to start seeing what is taking shape at 260 Addie Roy.

Level 1
The Work Underfoot
New plumbing routes are being cut into the slab while crews rework the column capitals that will finish the club lounge.
Underground plumbing and column capital work were active during the August 6 field walk.
Level 2
The Club's Center
Plumbing and mechanical lines are moving over the future bar and Putting Lab. Nearby, soffit framing is beginning to define the private dining room beside the simulator suites.
Overhead electrical rough-in on Level 2 was reported complete for the week of August 3.
Level 3
Rooms You Can Read
The Crow’s Nest is becoming legible room by room: office walls, backing, sprinklers, electrical runs, and plumbing are all finding their permanent places.
In-wall electrical rough-in on Level 3 was reported complete for the week of August 3.
Read the Building
Three floors. One club.
The field photographs show the work up close. These plans step back and show how every room fits together.
The main arrival level brings together the bar, dining rooms, Putting Lab, simulator suites, and Pro Shop.

While the U.S. Amateur Is at Merion
I took one shower at Merion. Mackenzie had to have one.
You've probably heard about Merion's showers. Golf Digest ranks them No. 1 in golf, which sounds a little ridiculous until you stand under one.

I got to experience one myself two years ago. Drenching. Amazing. Luscious. Borderline drowning. It was one of those golf-club details you remember long after you have forgotten your score.
So, naturally, I decided Mackenzie needed one.
I went digging online and, somewhere around page five of an old golf message board, found a woman who might still sell them. I sent her a very normal email: Do you still sell those enormous showerheads?
She did. We bought one.
The same contact is publicly listed for the oversized showerheads used at Merion, Pine Valley, and Union League. The polished monster in the photo is now sitting in Mackenzie storage, waiting for its moment.

A Second Golf Home
Built for every day of your week.
Mackenzie is a private indoor golf and social club built for the hours when a full round is not in the cards. Practice for an hour. Stay for a proper dinner. Recover, host, or just run into someone who cares about the game as much as you do.
Eight TrackMan suites, a serious restaurant, recovery and performance spaces, and a room full of people who love the game. Everything here is about the golf, even the parts that are not.

June 19, 2026 · The first gathering at 260 Addie Roy
Already a Club
Before it had finished walls, it had members.
In June, we sat down together on one of these unfinished floors. The building has moved forward since then, but the most important part was already here. The clubhouse is catching up to the club.
